Kisspeptin-10 is a peptide derived from the larger Kisspeptin family, produced in the hypothalamus and known for its key role in regulating the reproductive hormone axis. It stimulates the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which in turn drives the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland. Through this pathway, Kisspeptin-10 helps regulate fertility-related signaling and overall reproductive hormone balance.

Research has explored Kisspeptin-10’s involvement in ovulatory signaling, follicular development, and the coordination of menstrual-cycle rhythms. Experimental studies have also examined Kisspeptin’s role in spermatogenesis, sperm function, and broader reproductive physiology.
