TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of the full Thymosin Beta-4 protein and was designed to replicate select regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties associated with TB-4. However, TB-500 reflects only a portion of the biological activity present in the full-length peptide. TB-4 itself has been studied for a broader range of functions, including actin regulation, tissue repair, immune modulation, and cellular resilience—making it a key molecule in regenerative and repair-focused research. By offering TB-4, researchers can explore the full spectrum of biochemical activity attributed to the native protein.
Scientific investigations have examined TB-4’s ability to bind G-actin and regulate actin polymerization, a critical process for cell movement and structural healing.
